To enhance our department’s service to the company I installed a Change Management solution to simplify and automate IT change control. Designed with the ITIL best practices framework and workflow automation it ensures that any change introduced into the IT infrastructure follows a regulated process; this prevents unauthorized change, eliminates the potential for system downtime andensures regulatory compliance. I then provided training and technical resources to all three divisions of IT to educate and guide them through change management procedures. The benefits were almost immediately realized in less equipment and software downtime. In general a happier organization.
